How The Raffle Works
GETTING YOUR PRE-ORDER RAFFLE TICKETS
Pickup at the Contest
Pre-ordered raffle tickets will be held at the raffle booth for you. Pick ‘em up - bring your proof of purchase or ID - fill ‘em out, say your good luck mantra, add to the raffle drum.
Mail for Raffle Ticket Purchases Prior Through April 15
For tickets purchased prior through April 15, we can mail your tickets to fill out in advance of the contest. Bring them to the contest and add them to the raffle drum! Note that folded tickets will not be accepted.
Orphan Raffle Tickets – Thanks For Supporting the Community!
If you pre-order raffle tickets and do not mail them back to on-time and completed, or pick them up during the contest, then we thank you for your donation! As a volunteer-run event, we are unable to complete tickets and enter them for you. Big Stick Surfing Association and Logjam are not responsible for late-arriving or non-completed, or lost tickets, but we thank you for supporting our community!

Remember to write your name and cell phone # on the tickets so we can contact you! Blank tickets will be ineligible to win and we will pick again.
RAFFLE PRIZE PICK UP AT CONTEST
Prize Winners will be announced over the PA system at the contest, will be sent a text, and we will post on the website. Present your ticket stub at the raffle booth to claim your prize (sorry but no ticket, no prize).
IF YOU CAN’T PICK UP RAFFLE PRIZE DURING CONTEST
If you are not able to pick up your prize at the contest, we will make your prize available for pickup on Saturday May 6 or Saturday May 13 at a time and location in Santa Cruz to be provided. Prizes will not be mailed or shipped, except gift certificates (if pickup is not possible). If you won a surfboard, you get to pick from the remaining surfboard(s) when you come to the pickup location in Santa Cruz. For all prizes you must have your winning ticket stub.
SURFBOARD RAFFLE WINNERS
General raffle surfboards drawings may be held Saturday in addition to Sunday afternoon. You must have your matching ticket stub to claim the winning board. Board winners in the general raffle choose from the boards on a first-come basis. The first winner gets to choose from all four surfboards, and so on. You must claim a board in person or have a designated person choose/pickup for you at the time of the draw. We will not hold a specific surfboard for a winner.
